Fumigation of all Public Places in the Denkyembour DistrictÂ

On Saturday 14th November 2020, the Denkyembour District Assembly, under the leadership of District Chief Executive; Honourable Seth Ofosu Birikorang and District Coordinating Director; Mr. Mark Addo supervised district-wide fumigation of all public places within the district.
Four teams of well-trained personnel were deployed to the 4 sub-districts to undertake the extensive fumigation exercise. The four sub-districts include Akwatia sub-district, Wenchi/Takrowase sub-district, Boadua Sub-district and Okumaning sub-district.
All public places including markets, public toilets, lorry parks and slaughterhouses were thoroughly fumigated. The fumigation exercise was part of the measures to ensure the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic within the district.
