Denkyembour District Assembly Distributes Two Hundred Dual Desks to Schools in the District

Denkyembour District Assembly, as part of its responsibility to promote and improve upon the educational structures in the district, handed over two hundred metal dual desks to four educational institutions within the district. The schools include Akwatia Technical Institute, Ghana Technical and Vocational Education and Training School in Takrowase, Armakrom Basic School and GCD Quarters Basic School. It was the responsibility of the District Assembly to provide some basic facilities such as access to education, healthcare and security to the people within the district hence the provision of desks to the various schools.

The District Chief Executive, Honourable Seth Ofosu Birikorang urged the Head teachers and staff of the benefitting schools to take proper care of the desks in and keep it safe for a longer period. He also said that other schools would also benefit from the third phase of the distribution of the dual desks in the coming days.
