Environmental Health and Sanitation Unit
The Environmental Health and Sanitation Unit is responsible for developing and issuing technical guidelines on environmental health management and services. The unit is also mandated to initiate and apply social techniques and concept in the solution of environmental health problems. Also, the unit is to monitor and evaluate solid waste management services and advise on their improvement and sustainability and promote food and water hygiene. It is also mandated to enforce compliance with standards of hygiene in all premises
