Denkyembour District Assembly Holds Staff Meeting

On Tuesday 23rd August 2022, the Denkyembour District Assembly held its first staff meeting for the year 2022 at the District’s Assembly Hall. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss performance related issues and behavioral issues within the assembly.
The District Coordinating Director; Alhaji Abdulai Abdul-Gafaru, first and foremost, welcomed all staff for taking time off their official duties to attend such an important meeting. He also expressed his gratitude for the warm reception all staff has given him since his arrival and thanked all staff for the encouraging collaboration with him since his arrival
He first and foremost talked about general attendance of staff. He congratulated all staff for the improvement of staff attendance to work and the good conduct at the workplace since his arrival. He also urged all staff to continue in that regard. He however cautioned those who habitually miss work on certain days and those who periodically come to work late. He stated that, he would be inviting such people to his office for further explanation as to why they report to work late. He also pleaded with all staff to have a work friendly environment and a cordial relationship with each other as that would help improve the overall work rate of the assembly.
He also mentioned that plans are being put in place to improve the revenue of the assembly and that the revenue task force has already been set and have started operation. Also, the Environmental Health Task force have also undertaken the first phase of the arrest of stray animals and that staff would be updated with the outcome in due time.
He lastly talked about the just ended District Assembly Performance Assessment Tool (DPAT). He congratulated all staff for their involvement and immense efforts towards the DPAT assessment and the Performance Contract assessment.
After further deliberations, suggestions and discussions, the District Coordinating Director expressed his gratitude to all staff for attending the meeting.
